Inspiration

Long time ago, ITsHappy was build with a functionallity that match NGO needs with voluntiers who want to cover them. In current situation, we see a lot of people that can not exit home to buy their basic needs and at same time, there are a lot of voluntiers that want to do something to help. The problem is that it is necessary to organize and ensure there aren't bad practices to tell it softly, and by zone, people can be confidence to delegate the owner of the wall, the management of needs and deliveries.

What it does

If you imagine a old post-it wall, with offers o needs, imagine you know a digital solution of this. Any create wall is managed by someone certified can do that and recommeded by influenced zone. Probably it wil be supported by public institutions, Red Cross, Civil Protection o similar. People than need a delivery put in their zone wall this "WishList" with a several items inside and voluntiers that its responsible certify, can book the delivery. It will be possible to include in other zone wall this wishlist, for instance, if sons put in the wall the parent wishtlists. Other wall functiontionallity, zone shops could book part of the wishlist items to preparare the order to help voluntier to manage the deliver. Other wall functionallity is zone shops o markets publish in the a zone wall, items o packs to order. For instance, a old person family unit need eat for three days, they or their sons goes to this wall and add to their wishlist with this packs for some days.

How I built it

Currently we have all Services created in C#, deployed in Azure with Azure SQL , but I am wrapping to use in the new frotn end.

Challenges I ran into

ITsHappy as full platform, needs the coordination of several actors to work correctly. Consumers, manufacturers or brands and shops. To use in NGO, we have other incompresible excuses for me.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This will be used by a NGO to publish kids wishes without resources and voluntiers book and by these wishes in the Christmass campaign.

What I learned

Users wants simple tools. Tools like instagram, facebook or similar are success but if you include minimum management, it fails. Probably we didn't have in the initial team a UX to get it.

What's next for ITsHappy Solidary Wall

Migrate the front-end. We are reused reac-admin to start with this migration to do it as soon as possible. We are in progress to contact with public institutions to explain this tool and offer it to help to deliver needs to confined people. We need help to migrate UX include i someone can do the video.
