Inspiration
It is Halloween. So we thought of creating a website that gives you the creeps. Filled with various supernatural forces, this web app is guaranteed to give you a scare!
What it does
This house gives you a special invitation to the party of ........ From seeing which character you are to enjoying a planchet with a ghost that answers your questions to recommending a good Halloween movie, it has it all!
How we built it
The website is built using ReactJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
There were two main challenges. One was to incorporate speech to text successfully and another was creating transition effects for the pages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to design and implement the idea we had thought and hopefully have been able to make a product that is "spine-chilling".
What we learned
We learnt how some specific Web Apis work in JavaScript and successfully implemented them(setInterval and speech to text)
What's next for Its Time To Be One Of Us
We want to create a community blog site where people can post the scary stories that they want to share. Also we would try to add a virtual trick or treat game.
