What it does
itero.VR aims to utilize the Google Cardboard platform in order to make missed college lectures interactive, and fully immerse you as if you were there in person. The platform allows you to upload 3D recordings of a lecture (the typical 1080s/720s format on YouTube) and play them back through the app. The app will utilize the Google Cardboard platform in order to make it accessible to as many people as possible. Users can control all the typical functions, including pause, fast-forward, and rewind. When they pause, they may use the dictation embedded into iOS/Android in order to ask a question. The app will then attempt to find a matching answer by analyzing the transcript of the lecture, and if an answer cannot be found it will ask the user whether they wish to message the course instructor.
