Inspiration
We were inspired by the challenge of integrating multiple technologies with software we have never used before.
What it does
In a nutshell: it makes mazes. In a more complete manner, it combines Elise software and some locally implemented technologies to build and navigate through mazes in an engineering simulation
How we built it
Coded the maze script in python, coding the controllers in Arduino, putting it all together in Elise. And most importantly, an inhumane amount of caffeine and lack of sleep.
Challenges we ran into
A lot, but to mention a few:
- hardware issues
- server issues
- personal issues
- software issues
- hunger issues
## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We got the controller to work after a long, arduous night of just going at it -Being able to use the software in a creative way ## What we learned
- How much caffeine the average person can consume before their heart stops
- How much sleep depravation can the average person handle before showing signs of problems
- How to program Arduino controllers
- How to use Elise software (a lil bit) ## What's next for It's-a-Maze-Thing
- A well deserved good nights sleep after today
