For our project, we went with the Interactive Media track and designed a game. Because of the increase in use of AI, we thought of creating a game where a user can use a tutorial or an AI helper's aid to win the game. Whether the player trusts the tutorial’s guide or makes their own decision in the game is upto them. The tutorial’s guide or answers are not always right, and the player never knows when the AI helper gives the right or the wrong answer. This represents the choice everyone makes in the use of AI in everyday lives. AI is accurate in a lot of cases and does give the right answers, but it is also important to check if they are accurate, for example, in terms of research, whether the sources are up to date. All of this is already known to us, but we thought of taking a unique approach in demonstrating this flaw in AI, where it ‘confidently’ states the wrong answer as ‘right’. So, in this game, the player can consider their decision by perhaps observing the surroundings in-game for clues and confirming the helper’s choice or just trusting the helper.
