Inspiration

The goal of many countries for the past few years has been to come up with a way to improve the state of our planet since the damage we have caused over the years is showing effect through global warming and the important side effect of that being climate change. So what have we been doing wrong? Mainly the issue arises when there is no contribution from all the 7 billion people on this planet. There needs to be a way through which everyone can chip into this cause(unification). So let's get back to the basics is it possible to monopolize energy production? Yes but that will be a futile attempt to improve the earth's condition but a great way to earn money whereas if we disperse the process there might be hope after all. A poll was conducted which asked what would likely be the cause for human extinction and the results turned out to say that it would be human stupidity and hence we need to work together to save our HOME planet and ourselves.

What it does

I've shown a very rough idea on how I think we should go about cleaner energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels in turn reducing the emission of greenhouse gases. This is a three-fold concept where all three contribute to making my goal come true. Firstly, we need to talk about solar energy more, we may be far behind in building a Dyson sphere but we are very close to achieving very good solar energy harnessing devices the obvious one being solar panels but that isn't all there are devices called Thermoelectric generators which produce electricity when there is a difference in temperature and some research has been done that shows they can be instilled in footwalks and they need not be exposed to the sun too so it's a win-win. The final concept is based on the fact that people are trying to go to mars and Elon's starship can carry 100 metric tonnes of payload which in the testing stage can be very helpful in waste management. Just imagine a rocket filled with all the worst unusable harmful waste being shot into the sky and incinerated in space far away from the precious earth's atmosphere. So to get this plan off the ground I have designed a UI that compels people to support the cause by just adding a solar panel on top of their house and a sidewalk with TEG's and when more people start doing this We will see the change that we need.

How we built it

I used Figma for the UI and CAD software to animate some of my ideas. The UI is only for show which makes people guilty for doing something they would normally do. The CAD animations show a very rough idea as to what I'm proposing.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge will have to be the feasibility of the project in real life because the amount of energy generated by these methods is very less But when we consider the big picture it all works out. For e.g let's say there are six houses in my street and 2 are self sufficiently producing their own energy but 3 of the other houses exceed the amount they are producing to what they are consuming and the final house is vacant so the energy generated by the vacant house can help the other 3 houses maintain without having to use any other means of electricity. Here is some optimistic math- Let's say there is a solar panel producing 3kWh of energy per day considering the size, region, and efficiency are favorable then that would mean one house in a year will reduce its electricity consumption by 1095 kWh and 2,460 kWh of electricity is generated per ton of coal this implies that 500Kg of coal can be saved by just one house in one year and that's HUGE.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Am a beginner at this with this being my first hackathon and my first time animating and designing. I am happy with the overall outcome of my project even though it lacks in certain areas.

What we learned

Learned how to code more than just Hello world in python and a lot of practice later some designing and animation.

What's next for Isolated unification

People's support is one thing that is an absolute necessity for this. It is high time we joined hands to make our planet a better place, leave it better than we found it.
