Inspiration
I just want to arrive home from work and get updated on what is going on the web: watch the best videos. But the web is crowded with non interesting stuff.
What it does
iSofa is a video interface, built to dig only the best videos and organize them in a single playlist. And video diggers from 150 countries filter the playlist, to leave only the best.
How I built it
We use behavior to give score to the videos, thus, organizing the playlist.
Challenges I ran into
Facebook api. Once it was open, and I could see all videos posted by my friends in a row, combines with youtube and vimeo videos. Now I can’t access them anymore.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
New York Times And C-Net, reviewed us, as the future of youtube. Litle by litle we are building interfaces to all platforms. We already have iOS, website and soon Samsung Smart TVs.
What I learned
If you can imagine, you can build it. Maybe not the way you thought, maybe not in that timeframe, maybe not for that cost. But it can be done. I feel doing it. Update by update.
