Is Blank Homophobic?

Inspiration

In public, sometimes I am worried about how I will be treated when I am wearing a pride shirt.

What it does

This website will allow users to see reviews including keywords relating to homophobia to see if the store near them has a history of homophobia.

How we built it

We used HTLM5, CSS, and JavaScript for the front end and our server uses python.

Challenges we ran into

one member on our team has never coded before, two members have taken an intro to programming course, and the last member has taken two coding courses. Our collective lack of knowledge has made this weeknd a steep learning cuve and a little stressful, but fun!

What's next for Is Blank Homophobic?

Fixing UI/UX We ran into many challenges with the code for scoring companies. The python code for scoring is complete and after submission we will work on integration of that code with the website.
