Escape Iridium Blight
Iridium Blight is a resource allocation euro-style board game for 4-6 explorers on the recently discovered iridium asteroid.
In Iridium Blight, players set up their own space station with the resources mined from the asteroid, racing to build the largest possible spaceship. To setup the game, connect the 6 edge pieces and place 19 random hexagon board pieces in the center. Keep adding layers of 19 randomly selected pieces until all are on the board, distribute the explorer pawns and the spaceship bases, and shuffle the deck of cards. On their turn, players roll a die and move their explorer accordingly. After moving, explorers can take 1 of 3 actions: Research the location (Draw a card and follow the text cards can add resources, be good/bad events, or cause a blight -- all players lose all current resources), Build up the station (Remove the hexagon from the center board and add to the player's personal station -- this will provide passive resource income for players), or Add materials to the ship (Pay the specified price, remove the hexagon and add to the top of the ship stack). Play continues until no pieces remain in the center board -- at the end of the game, the explorer who managed to accumulate the most materials in their ship wins.
