iPickup

Fiona and I created an iOS app using Xcode using the language swift. We programmed a cheesy pick up line generator with over 40 different and successful iPickup lines. The pick up lines are appropriate for all ages and will bring a smile to all. The app will especially work on getting dates for the next upcoming dance. One of our users, Max Chakhmatov, junior at Burlingame High School, tested this app on one of his classmates. Chakhmatov immediately got a date to prom by using the iPickup line “you’re so sweet, you’d put Hershey’s out of business.” On our iOS app, we used an array of strings of iPickup lines. When the generate button was clicked, a string was randomly pulled out from the array. The label “your iPickUp line will appear here” will change when the generate button is clicked. We loved building this app because we had so much exposure to iOS. Please look at the photos below to see the variety of iPickUp lines we’ve included.
