Inspiration

In these difficult times local businesses need all the support we can give, both to keep their employees and customers safe, and to bring more customers.

What it does

iPayZone turns Square gift cards into a contactless payment method that is fast, convenient, and covid-19 safe. Customers can help the local businesses by buying their gift cards, save them in their phones and use them to pay. Customers can easily share with family and friends or send as gifts. Customer can buy new cards, check the balance and reload from the convenience of their home.

How we built it

There are two applications, the customer App and the Point of Sale App, Both are build on Android Studio. The Apps connect to a server implemented in www.integromat.com and stores the OAuth, and transaction data in a www.tadabase.io database. The App Point of Sale App is designed to run on Androd phones and can display the QR-code gift cards. The App supports running on Google Play certified POS terminals such as wisenet5 from www.wiseasy.com, this allows running any Android App including Square and is available at Amazon .
