Inspiration
The inspiration behind IP Address Services™ is to provide a scalable solution to serve valid location data based on IP Address to allow other software companies to easily build location-based software. As an organization, we will be utilizing IP Address Services™ to implement our own location-based software to serve local content to consumers.
What it does
IP Address Services™ is a simple, affordable, and easy to integrate, IP Address Lookup and Geolocation service/API to enhance data for your business.
How I built it
There is of course a public membership website. I implemented a view engine that sits on top of the the golang templating engine to make it even easier to create web applications in golang.
With IP Address Services™, identifying a visitor's geographic location (lat/long coordinates, city, state, country), and more, has never been easier. IP Address Services™ is ideal for geotargeting and fraud prevention.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The view engine started out as just a bit of a hobby project, but turned into a viable project to quickly and easily implement a golang website.
What I learned
I learned that golang is a pretty amazing language/framework to work with. It allows you to quickly, simply, implement any kind of software you need (web, system, etc.). It's also VERY fast and it definitely cuts implementation costs. It's a no-brainer to user as a primary programming language.
What's next for IP Address Services™
Will be implementing additional software which will utilize IP Address Services™ to serve location-based content.
