IoToYou

Inspiration

IoToYou dedicated to save lives of nomadic herders from dying while they are chasing their half-wild livestock; and the nomadic herders kids (starting from 6 years old) stay at dormitories for school and they escaping to home. Some kids died from harsh climate and missing on the way to home from the schools and villages. This IoT coverage can inform their locations via the connected bracelets and the livestock herds can be easily detected using the connected ear tags.This can also helps kids in the cities as well. Of course, after creating the coverage it can be used for many different purposes to make life easier for the developing countries.

What it does ## How we built it

We have installed hundreds of gateways of the Peoples Network of Helium company in Mongolia and soon we will launch ecosystems to help the families who can care their loved ones via the IoToYou. https://explorer.helium.com/hotspots/hex/88255a2a4bfffff

Challenges we ran into

Lots of challenges we already faced and solved the problems. The internet source is the largest problem in the remote areas and to find safe location is the most difficult. Although the Helium network is dedicated for public but no one else than us installed it in our country. We placed 170 gateways to create this coverage and needs thousands more. We were trusted on mining income to expand the network, unfortunately the Proof of Coverage has been shut down by the company. So we are facing more and more problems for financing. Trying to make the gateways myself by collecting parts from China market.
