Inspiration
There was no IoT Challenge at HackaTUM this year. So we decided to develop a digital business card to play around with uC, Wifi, Bluetooth, RFID and Rust on the wildcard track.
What it does
The digital business card can be generated in a self-developed app and uploaded to the digital business card via Blutooth. As soon as two digital business cards are placed on top of each other, the contacts are exchanged via NFC.

ESP32 uC + sh1106 OLED + pn532 RFID + Rust
Challenges we ran into
A logic analyzer is often a great help while debugging hardware related issues. Embedded software development in Rust instead of C++ looks promising but many bindings are still WIP.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got everything up and running by Sunday.
What we learned
We have learned a lot about embedded software development.
