Inspiration

In a pandemic the vaccine does not exist yet, but measures can be taken to prevent it by keeping social distance.

What it does

it is necessary to implement a transparent, free, universal protocol, so that the sensors can transmit data in any country, in any continent on any system for a vaccine to be effective in a population, it is enough for 20/60 percent to be vaccinated. The spread time of COVID is between 6/8 weeks. The virus is not suicidal and does not aim to infect the entire population. after this period, it occupies other territories and later returns in another form. If we have motion sensors from 20% of the population we can say that we are starting to control pandemics.

How I built it

urban authorities should build a free gateway infrastructure for such situations. a mobile application or IoT motion, alarm, temperature sensors can transmit data when an emergency is announced

Challenges I ran into

in a city of 40 square kilometres, a number of 10 outdoor IoT gateways are enough. these will transmit data in the cloud for 100,000 inhabitants at a rate of 1000 messages per hour

What I learned

a huge potential for open IT infrastructure. for telemedicine alarm for observing social distance in case of a pandemic. We must not be prisoners of the cities but people who maintain a social distance between them

What's next for IoT network for for pandemic screening

identifying resources of local administrations to be able to implement at city level
