Inspiration

1]PH - water which is to alkaline (or) basic can damage the pipe line unhealthy to drink 2]Turbidity - nausea , cramps, headache, etc.… it can also carry harmful pathogens into human body 3]TDS - higher levels of total dissolved solids in water make water tastes bitter , salty or brackish

What it does

1]Real time river water quality monitoring system involves wireless communication system and central server for information management 2]Energy constraint , memory restriction, data accuracy, sensor localization and not at least the cost minimization where the most challenge in this project 3]On this basis the water resource management system development all data should be integrated and visualized by using GIS.

How we built it

   1] Monitoring of real quality of water from the river makes use of Ph, turbidity, salinity, temperature, o2 level sensor.
   2] The system can monitor water quality automatically and trigger alarms immediately to prevent any health hazard and it is low cost and does not require people on duty
   3]The system is to be more economical,convenient, fast and it has good flexibility
   4]Existing type is so costly and size of the product is large
   5]We are designing a product that was very compact and in low cost
   6]Usage of ESP32 Designed own pcb board which is more compactable
   7]We have used first class pcb so it is more efficient

Challenges we ran into

    IN OUR PROJECT THE COMPONENTS THAT WE USED FOR ANALYSING THE PARAMETER OF WATER ARE SENSORS ,ARDUINO,AND ALSO INTERFACED WITH LCD .WHILE INTERFACING LCD THEIR IS AN ERROR OCCCURENCE ON DISPLAYING THE INFORMATION OF OUR QUALITY OF WATER  IN THAT CASE FOUND THE ERROR OCCURED IN THE CONNECTION OF WIRES AND MADE SLIHT CHANGES IN THE ARDUINO CODE WHILE COME TO THE SENSOR IT SHOWS UNEXPECTED  VALUES ACCORDING TO THE EXPECTED VALUES WE HAVE USED IN THE PROJECT SO IN THE CODE AND FORMULAS ARE EDITED  TO DISPLAY THE EXPECTED VALUES OF THE PROJECT.THIS IS THE MAIN ERROR IDENTIFIED IN PROJECT.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

     IN OUR DAILY LIFE WATER IS THE ESSENTIAL THINK ,NOT ONLY FOR HUMANS, ALSO FOR AGRICULTURE SO THE QUALITY OF WATER IS  ESSENTIAL. IN ORDER TO MEASURE THAT SEVERAL SENSORS ARE USED SUCH AS  PH SENSOR ,TUBITITY SENSOR AND TEMPRATURE SENSORS ARE USED FOR AGRICULTURAL FIELDS. BY USING THOSE SENSORS  ANALYSE THE WATER QUALITY BY USING THE STANDARD VALUES . BY USING THOSE VALUES IDENTIFY WHETHER THE WATER CAN BE USED FOR AGRICULTURAL FIELDS AND THIS IS VERY HELPFUL FOR THE FARMERS TO INCREASE THEIR YIELDS AND THE PRODUCTION IS HIGH SO THAT WE CAN DECREASE THE POVERTY IN THE WORLD. IN RECENT YEARS, INTELLIGENT SENSOR TECHNIQUES HAVE ACHIEVED SIGNIFICANT ATTENTION IN AGRICULTURE. IT IS APPLIED IN AGRICULTURE TO PLAN THE SEVERAL ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS PROPERLY BY UTILISING LIMITED RESOURCES WITH MINOR HUMAN INTERFERENCE.THIS SYSTEM HELP TO DETECTING WATER QUALITY AND USE FOR AGRICULTURE PURPOSE SUCH AS PER READING OF TURBIDITY, PH LEVEL, ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY, TEMPERATURE, ACIDITY, ALKALINITY, TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS.WE SUGGEST SUITABLE FARMING TO FARMER AND ALSO WHICH DISEASE OCCUR DUE TO IMPURE WATER

What we learned

1]Water pollution is one of the biggest fears for green globalization. 2]To ensure a safe supply of drinking water, the quality needs to be monitored in real-time.  To determine the quality of water using IOT 3]To monitor and regulation of water parameters with their range  4]Quantitative information on the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of water 5]The system consists of several sensors is used to measure the physical and chemical parameters of the water  6] By monitoring the quality of water, the awareness about the drinking water is spread among people.

What's next for IOT BASED REAL TIME WATER QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM

We have further develop this project in to one public website to update a sensor value based on area they can get the information about water quality.tSo that anyone can know about the quality of the water they use.
