Inspiration

My family owns 3 factories in the outskirts of my city. So one day my father was talking about how it sometimes become difficult to have a real-time data of all the products that are being manufactured in all the factories. SO THAT WAS IT. I created an application for it.

What it does

InvManager is basically the easiest inventory management application to use. Yet it has dozens of features if dive deep into it. Each feature making one problem of your logistics easier. So it is huge application that has many-many features. Lets mention some of them. -Real-time stock tracking (of course). -Track product inventory with variant support -Manage stock levels and buffer stock -Handle customer and vendor relationships -Process transactions and returns -Generate reports and analytics -Manage multiple warehouses -Track product categories and units

-Multi-user authentication system -Product variant management -Transaction history -Customer and vendor management -Warehouse management -Product categorization -Return management system -Image management for products -Telegram bot integration for notifications

How I built it

So i basically started it from scratch, kept talking with my father and all the users that used the application. It was the feedback... I gave my application to a lots of Amazon FBA sellers in my city and asked them what I can add/remove to make this application easier for you and your employees.

Challenges I ran into

So there were a lot of challenges, each one coming with each new feature I added. The main challenge that I kept running into, was to make my application suitable for ages between 20-90 and for all audiences. The main problem was that most employees are not ready to adapt to a complex new application. So I have to design everything to be as simple as it can be.

Another challenge was to fit everything in the palm of a hand. InvManager can be accessed both on desktop and mobile devices, but displayed such huge data tables was not possible on smaller screens. So I had to research everything that could be done to fit all the data in all screen sizes possible.

Each new feature came with its own technical as well as design challenges.

What's next for InvManager

I want to add as many features as I can in InvManager for 2 reasons. Number one being more flexibility and easier management. Number 2, however is the golden boy... AI. With such a huge data of where a single product is coming from, stored and shipped to a customer/wholeseller gives me a huge data which I can use to predict future outcomes.

I can predict stockouts, seasonal demands, supplier relation data, customer relation data... and many more uncountable things from data. So that InvManager just doesn't remain a "Manager", but becomes a "Consultant", "Analyst", "Forecaster" and many more things.
