Inspiration
We all have events/parties/meetings that we host and want to send text invitations to groups of people through our favorite IM applications like Whatsapp. This makes sending details to invitees very convenient and time saving, especially if invitees belong to different combinations of groups.

What it does
This is a tool that allows users to send messages and create/generate invitations to send to any number on whatsapp (as soon as the Whatsapp sales team gets back to me). Users can create groups of contacts in any way they want.
How we built it
This app is built with ReactJS and NodeJS. It is powered by Redis for data storage and retrieval, and uses Auth0 for user authentication. It uses the Meta API for whatsapp and OpenAI's GPT API for invitation suggestions.
Challenges we ran into
Whatsapp business platform only allows test users to receive text messages, so in order for the app to work as intended, the developer (me) must register and verify a business.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The front end looks great and is so simple to use.
What we learned
I learned Redis and also about the various APIs that I used.
What's next for Invite
Users that log in to the platform and want to send text messages through the company handling the whatsapp developer platform must have a limit and their messages must go through some sort of review process. Other than that, the simplicity of this product must not be compromised.
