Inspiration Immigrant technical founders often know how to build products, but fundraising requires more than code. It requires market clarity, storytelling, confidence, and the ability to answer hard investor questions under pressure.

We built InvestorBridge AI to help founders validate what they pitch and practice how they pitch it before walking into a real investor meeting.

What it does InvestorBridge AI guides a founder through five steps:

Validate the startup idea and founder-market fit. Sharpen the ICP, problem, wedge, and business model. Build an investor-ready deck narrative. Simulate a live investor pitch with camera, mic, screen share, and Q&A. Improve with an Investor Readiness Report and stronger rewritten answers. How we built it We built the backend with Python + FastAPI and the frontend with React + TypeScript.

The agentic layer uses LangGraph to orchestrate specialized agents:

RAG Tool → Validate Agent → Sharpen Agent → Deck Agent → Simulation Agent → Improve Agent We also integrated Baseten DeepSeek for investor-style Q&A rewriting, plus a local RAG tool for market and pitch-readiness evidence.

Challenges The biggest challenge was balancing ambition with demo reliability. Multimodal pitch coaching is a large product surface, so we focused on a strong vertical slice: idea validation, deck narrative, live simulation, and final feedback.

We also had to make the app feel clearly “multi-agent,” not just like a long chatbot response.

What we learned We learned that the strongest founder coaching product is not only about reviewing pitch decks. It has to combine:

what the founder is pitching, how clearly the founder communicates, how confidently they answer objections, and whether the idea is worth pitching in the first place. What’s next Next, we would add real video/audio analysis, stronger market research sources, persistent founder sessions, and partner dashboards for accelerators, universities, and founder communities.
