Inspiration
Our inspiration came from our keen interest of stocks and some of the stock-related topics our 2 sophomores learned in Economics in their past semester.
What it does
Our Investment Simulator teaches people of all ages how to invest correctly in stocks, as well as the risk of investing in stocks.
How we built it
We built our website on Visual Studio Code with programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and node.js.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we ran into this hackathon is only one of the laptops could acsess the LAN the website was running on so it made testing code difficult
Accomplishments that we're proud of
An accomplishment we're proud of is time-managing with making a functional website and teaching the new coders how to code with HTML and CSS.
What we learned
How to use VScode with several people, some of us learned code. We learned how to use node js and express, and more complex styles
What's next for Investment Simulator
Adding more features like penny stocks, bonds, index funds, etc.
