Inspiration
The rise in online investment fraud and deceptive financial reporting inspired me to build a solution that empowers users to verify the legitimacy of investment platforms and documents. I noticed how people often get trapped by well-designed fake apps or websites promising high returns, so I wanted to create something that could proactively detect and report these scams.
What it does
Investment Scam Reporter is a mobile/web app that helps users identify suspicious investment schemes. Users can add investment reports, and the app analyzes them for scam indicators. It provides: Scam likelihood scores based on key patterns User-submitted reports to crowdsource scam data
