Inspiration
From a young age, investing has been an integral part of my life. Growing up, I became increasingly aware that not everyone had the privilege of accessing the resources needed to participate in investing. Determined to bridge this gap, I founded Investing Hub. Our mission is to democratize financial knowledge by providing access to learning opportunities about the stock market and staying updated with the latest market news.
What it does
Investing Hub is a blog-based website that brings together computer science and finance to benefit people worldwide. With a diverse collection of over 20 articles, we are dedicated to teaching various investing topics and sharing recent market news.
How we built it
Our website was meticulously crafted using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Initially, we faced challenges in mastering these programming languages, but with persistence and dedication, we overcame them. Now, updating and editing articles have become second nature.
Challenges we ran into
One of our major hurdles was the time-consuming process of writing and proofreading articles to ensure they were production-ready during the hackathon period. However, through determination and efficient time management, we successfully accomplished this task.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We take great pride in the user-friendly UI of our website. Its simplicity ensures that users can easily access a comprehensive understanding of multiple investing topics. This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to making financial knowledge accessible to all.
What we learned
Our journey with Investing Hub has taught us that the struggle to access necessary resources for successful investing is not limited to young individuals like ourselves. Adults also face similar challenges. This valuable insight has led us to tailor our articles and website to cater to everyone's needs.
