Inspiration

I'm using eToro a lot, and I wanted to create something which will help me daily with tracking my portfolio and news about each stock, also helps me with finding a new investing opportunities

What it does

That's AI-powered (Gemini) personal investing assistant. Analyze stocks, review portfolios, and get market insights — all in a single HTML file.

How I built it

I used HTML + CSS + JavaScript, Claude help and Gemini API.

Challenges we ran into

Limited API key usage, I needed to create a lot of accounts to test it for free... Also I'm doing all of this for the first time, so I was scared while presenting and forgot what to mention. So I leave YouTube video public and after festival I'm gonna unlist it, it feels very awkward...

Accomplishments that I am proud of

That everything works smooth as butter (almost) and that I tried to take part of my first hackfest

What I learned

How Gemini API works and how talk to it and use it for a something very financial important.

What's next for InvestAI

Better "export" chat function, also I noticed few bugs during demo, so I'll fix it after festival.
