INVESTigator

Inspiration

I have always wanted to learn how to invest but all the other platforms were always so confusing and added so much extra pressure that was not needed as a student.

What it does

It helps you enter your budget and monthly inputs and calculates your annual income based on the answers to those questions.

How we built it

I used J Doodle HTML style and Java Script.

Challenges we ran into

I think one major challenge was putting myself into someone's shoes who would end up needing this app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The simplicity and effectiveness of the app is something I truly am proud of.

What we learned

I learned that it actually is so much simpler to use an application like this than get information from thousands of sites and get overwhelmed.

What's next for INVESTigator

I want to be able to expand so that kids can actually start investing through the app and not just planning their future investments.
