🌱 Inspiration Our journey began with our first NFT-based sports project, which failed to secure funding—not because the idea lacked potential, but because there was no efficient platform that connected founders and investors with reliable data and trust. This inspired us to build InvestAI, a platform where AI bridges the gap between innovation and investment, helping great ideas get noticed at the right time. 🧠 What We Learned We realized that the startup investment process is highly subjective and inefficient, with investors spending weeks analyzing decks and startups struggling to gain credibility. We learned that integrating AI-driven verification and market analysis could eliminate this friction and make the process data-driven and transparent. 🏗️ How We Built It We developed InvestAI using: FastAPI for a scalable backend React + Tailwind CSS for a clean and responsive frontend Firebase for authentication and real-time data management Google Gemini AI APIs for powering 8 specialized AI agents performing: Fact Checking Business Model Analysis Market Size Evaluation Product and Competitor Insights Founders’ Research Risk Assessment Document Analysis A RAG-based chatbot for dynamic Q&A, enabling investors to explore startup data interactively An integrated AI-powered meeting scheduler for frictionless collaboration ⚙️ Challenges We Faced Designing accurate AI prompts that capture real startup insight Integrating multiple AI agents seamlessly with Google’s API ecosystem Handling diverse startup data formats (pitch decks, PDFs, URLs) Creating a trust-driven investor experience without overwhelming users with raw data 💡 Outcome InvestAI evolved into an end-to-end investment intelligence platform, helping startups gain credibility and investors make faster, smarter, and fairer funding decisions.
