Inspiration
Personal struggles to understand unnecessary expenses that could be directed into savings/investment.
What it does
Matti suggests you an investment based on your unnecessary expenses. Matti also follows up on your plan and informs you if you are on track.
How we built it
It was a team effort both at the idea and implementation stages.
Challenges we ran into
- We learnt about Robo-advisors in the middle of the development
- Sample transactions list doesn't resemble real life scenario
- API is still in its early stages
- Nowhere to sit
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Understand the resources Nordea provides in compliance with PSD2 and use some
- Build a prototype dashboard that shows the problem we are solving
- Matti design inspired by modern Nordea colorscheme and style
What we learned
- Test business idea early
- Hackathon puts a lot of pressure to rush the problem implementation
What's next for InvestMatti
- Use real life data for transactions
- Working peer comparison feature
- Potential expansion into a chatbot
