Inspiration
We were inspired to build a proyect looking for the most efficient way to satisfy the current needs, thinking that a project like this not only is a great experience for us as students, but has an enormous amount of value in our personal development.
What it does
Our product focuses on managing ang changing the way inventory is managed in order to have an easy to use system that will keep track of individual expirtion dates, cart lists and even flight tracking in order to have all the information available to boos gateGroup's operations.
How we built it
We built it using React, a group of two computer scientists and two data scientists as well as a lot of hard work and determination .
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges we ran into were being able to manage the difficulties of a progressive web app in order to increase the capabilities of our website and harness the cameras of our phones to create a valuable MVP that will display a new wave of inventory tracking for GateGroup.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of finishing, proud of the work we did and proud of the product we developed.
What we learned
We learned a alot about front end, backend and even the way deployment in github works.
What's next for Inventory Management System by MJ&TheMonstars
Next would we implementing some hardware to make the assembly system even more powerful, integrating more accurate training models with real time data and the integration of multiple databases of the multiple locations gateGroup might have.
