Inspiration
While most of us think about how an e-commerce app looks from the visitor/buyer's perspective, we thought of diving into it and replicating how it looks inside-out! We wanted to showcase how it might look from an inventory manager's POV! Secondly, it was the project that we had submitted during the recent Hack-commerce hackathon (and since it had MySQL as the database implemented, so thought of submitting it again for the Hack with SQL challenge in AI/ML Week of GHW).
What it does
We used Angular for the front end and Spring Boot for the backend development. MySQL was used as the database.
How we built it
We used Angular for the front end and Spring Boot for the backend development. MySQL was used as the database.
Challenges we ran into
Completing the entire project within the given timeframe was the most difficult task! Fortunately, we overcame that hurdle as well ;)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Teamwork, sharing of ideas, and lovely interactions were significant accomplishments. Other than that finishing the project as a team was the biggest one!
What we learned
We came in contact with new technologies but the most important one was teamwork and interactions!
What's next for Inventory Management System
Authentication, authorization, index-based search, a better UI and much more!
Built With
- angular.js
- mysql
- springboot
