Invasives

Inspiration

We were inspired by wild west bounty hunters and the difficulty of telling invasive species apart.

What it does

Invasives matches a persons lifestyle to the invasive species they would encounter most in their day to day.

How we built it

From our initial inspiration we split into coding and research. The coders making the Creature class and questions. The researchers informing the coders of what lifestyle questions would be most relevant and filling in the Creatures.

Challenges we ran into

Not all members were familiar with Git or certain aspects of the class system in C++. Here we learned together and got all members up to speed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our algorithm and creature class. But above all the learning that occurred.

What's next for Invasives

Extending into other locations aside from Chicago and adding in a location function to factor in where you are to what species you are likely to encounter.
