We wanted to streamline the process of user support by providing an easy to operate index of common issues with intuit brands.
What it does:
intuit-IVE simplifies the process of finding assistance for user issues, and at the same time saves the choices of users and what they need assistance with so intuit has an inside look at their consumer's needs and what brands need work.
How we built it:
We built Intuit.IVE by using Visual Studio and self-designed layouts featuring Intuit branding with GIMP to create a GUI, while a Microsoft SQL Server instance ran in the background recording data.
Challenges we ran into:
We had difficulties with connecting to our database, and also had to completely learn how to use visual basic.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We're proud of the new skills we learned from this experience, as well as the graphical features we put out (i.e. backgrounds, app icon, etc.)
What we learned:
How to Integrate unfamiliar coding languages into databases and use image editing software for practical purposes
What's next for intuit.IVE:
Easy integration into all of intuit's products, as well as mobile ports, and online browser version
