Inspiration

We have been working hard in bringing real-time visibility and digitization for Indian Logistics and Supply Chain industry. Until now our focus has been on road transport, but given the opportunity to work with IATA it was a conscious call to work on Air Cargo visibility as well sooner than later. Bringing visibility into air freight means the supply chain can now have greater confidence in tracking this mean of transport that is utilized for the most critical and time sensitive shipments.

What it does

Our platform helps with the real time visibility of air freight, which helps in better planning, exception management, and increase customer satisfaction. Also the platform significantly reduces the time and money spent on manual track and trace. Intugine's multimodal and multi-leg visibility further helps a supply chain to rely on one single platform for end to end visibility.

How we built it

We followed a typical product development approach while working on this project. Started with primary and secondary research to determine the right problem statement and gather all the required data. Post that given our deep domain expertise helped us to build the solution in the right manner, with collaboration between product, design and tech.

The major challenge we faced was structuring the product.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Fortunately in last few years we have had many moments to cherish. But our efforts to help Indian state governments to contain coronavirus by using our visibility platform for quarantine tracking and oxygen cylinder tracking stands out.

What we learned

We got to understand the working functionality of air cargo tracking system with good learning on how we can further integrate with airline APIs to create robust Air Cargo Tracking Solution.

What's next for Intugine

We would want to launch Air Cargo Tracking as a part of our product and utilize this opportunity to present ourselves as the most reliable platform for multimodal and multi-leg visibility.
