IntruVis was inspired by a common problem I observed among students and professionals—laptops being accessed or stolen without any way to know who tried to use them. Traditional security tools focus on software threats, not physical intrusion.
What I Learned: Through this project, I learned about system-level security, device APIs, background services, and how to design privacy-first solutions that work even with limited resources.
How I Built It: I designed IntruVis as a lightweight, device-based solution that detects unauthorized access, captures evidence like photos and location, and sends alerts to the owner. The focus was on simplicity, reliability, and user privacy.
