Introspect

Inspiration

We were inspired by the popularity of journaling and the daily use of websites and mobile apps. We wanted to create a project that would be quick and simple for users to track their thoughts and feelings throughout the year.

What it does

Introspect is a website that allows users to fill in a mood tracker and answer one prompt everyday. The mood tracker encourages the user to reflect on their emotions daily and the journaling page will include the same randomly generated prompt for all users everyday.

How we built it

We built the pages together using Replit.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with creating the buttons and connecting the pages to allow for a smooth user experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of creating engaging pages that provide a welcoming atmosphere and allow users to interact with the virtual journal.

What we learned

We learned how to create an interactive website with text, photos, and buttons for users.

What's next for Introspect

Next steps for Introspect include allowing users to track their daily use of the website by creating a streak. We would also like to create badges for accomplishments that users can receive and display.
