Introduction to social media!!

Inspiration

Creating a bot felt like the first step into getting involved in AI technology and creating this has had my interest in years by now.

What it does

This bot that I made in discord sends a link to a social media page depending on what the sender sends. And in addition, if the user does not know how to use the bot, you can send "!commands" to see messages the bot replies to.

How we built it

I used replit.com and used the python language to create this bot.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge I faced was all the pre-setting I had to do such as installing pip and discord.py. It has caused a lot of confusion.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

An accomplishment that I am proud of is that I used some new knowledge I got from attending a workshop into this project.

What we learned

I learned that python was not just a language that was taught and used just because it was the easiest to understand. Every language has its field of design.

What's next for Introduction to social media!!

If I had the time and skill to work more on this project, I would like to implement a command that lets users post things through the discord bot without opening the social media.
