Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project came from our love for the sport of basketball.
What it does
This website gives you a brief, basic introduction/overview of how basketball works so you can try it out yourself.
How we built it
We built it by learning from our previous lessons, and some new codes we learned at SRC Hackathon. We knew from previous experience at middle school and implemented it on our new website. We used our old websites as our guide, and we also used CSS for styles. We made different links for each subtopic we were going to talk about. We even cited our pictures and shaped out pictures(borders and shape). We had also registered it to licensed under a Creative Commons.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into were mostly making the website more colorful so it looks more user-friendly. We also struggled to make the website interactive and connecting all the pages to the main home page.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are extremely proud of how well and efficiently we worked together. We developed the idea almost instantly and we converted the idea into a website proficiently. We love the experience we got here and we plan to come back next year.
What we learned
We learned that if we put our minds together, we can work efficiently. We learned how to link other pages.
What's next for Intro to Basketball
We plan to make changes in the future to this website, maybe even a part two. We really like coding as a team and look forward to our coding experience!
