Inspiration

Laziness

Wait actually, we Humans build things to enhance our laziness. so we took it a step further IntraPlay is an Interactive media player that controls media using hand gestures and facial expressions.

What it does

• IntraPlay uses the user's webcam to check for predetermined gestures which are to be done by the user and translates them to the specified website/media.
• It has pre-trained models to detect specific gestures such as Play, Volume control, Stop etc.

How we built it

• My Teammate and I studied Python, MediaPipe and OpenCV to work on IntraPlay as best as possible.
• It was our first project and we tried our hardest spending day and night

Challenges we ran into

• Since it was our first project, we had to manage everything ourselves and gather all our resources together.
• It was our first-ever hackathon for both of us so we had to understand all the basics.
• My teammate had to learn about Computer Vision and how it works while I had to learn PythonAutoGUI

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We Completed the project within the time limit.
• Reached all our imagined goals for the project.
• Learned Teamwork.
