What it does
📱 Third Person Dungeon Battler (on-chain PvE)
🪖 Programmable warriors - dynamic cNFTS whose attributes, wearables, weapons, and level progression are programmed using Bubblegum on Solana - kudos to Metaplex and Underdog protocol
🏅 On-chain leaderboard to reflect player performances and reputation aiding in incentive distribution - shoutout to MagicBlock Labs SOAR framework
⚰️🧪 Reversible Permadeath - Warriors freeze for 2 hours after death, but can be revived on-chain using potions (cNFTs)
💎 Artefacts as collectibles - Artifacts are collected during raids as cNFTs which are then used to craft potions, powerups, and pocket pals using various combinations inside the Codex (Brewery + Inventory)
🛍️📦 Marketplace & Inventory - In-game marketplace and inventory - trade and manage earned assets and equip on demand
🏁 Tokenised Checkpoints - Level/Map progression are stored and updated as cNFTs on Solana
🧙♀️ Crafting and Brewing - Different combinations of collected cNFT artifacts, products, potions, and powerups are used as temporary and permanent boosts respectively
📁 Wallets and account abstraction - Sign in with Phantom or using your Google account on Web3 Auth and you do not have to worry about gas fees, in-game transaction signatures, and seed phrases or keys
How we built it
We believe storytelling complemented with a good RPG gameplay is the key by enabling true ownership of in-game assets through NFTs, allowing players to buy, sell, and trade unique items and characters. Our players are able to earn real-world value by participating in the game. Additionally, the decentralized nature and community-driven development enhance the overall gaming experience, making players feel more involved and invested. Web3 RPG games like Intrant Inferis on Solana are positioned uniquely in the current market due to Solana's high performance and low transaction costs ad the best-in-class infrastruture for on-chain games Majority of games today on mobile make revenue out of in-game purchases, rentals, and microtransactions especially in web3. Solaa is best positioned for RPG games because: Low Transaction Costs: Affordable Gameplay: Solana’s low transaction fees reduce the cost barrier for players, making in-game transactions, such as buying items or trading assets, more accessible. Microtransactions: Enables frequent microtransactions, which are common in RPGs for purchasing small in-game items or upgrades without incurring high costs. Ecosystem and Developer Support: Developer Tools: Solana offers robust tools and resources for developers, like Magicblock, and gameshift including the Solana SDK, which simplifies the development process for complex RPG games. Ecosystem Integration with budding Defi projects and launchpads: Integration with other Solana-based projects and DeFi platforms can enhance the RPG experience with features like decentralized exchanges (DEXs) for trading in-game assets, as seen with games like Nyan Heroes on Jupiter LFG launchpad. Interoperability and Cross-Platform Play: Interoperable Assets: Assets from Solana-based RPGs can potentially be used across different games and platforms within the Solana ecosystem, creating a more interconnected gaming experience. Cross-Platform Integration: Solana's performance enables seamless integration with other platforms and services, enhancing the overall gaming experience.

What we learned and what's next for Intrant Inferis
Built with mobile accessibility in mind, our on-chain RPG game features seamless onboarding using widely used Solana Wallets like Phantom, and Solflare, and social authetication mechanics that allows users to sign up without any hassle. All in-game transactions are abstracted using session keys on Solana, that abstracts wallet popups and transaction signatures, making the gameplay more intuitive and simple. The game is built for passionate gamers seeking challenging and immersive experiences, willingness to invest significant time and effort into mastering complex gameplay mechanics and systems enjoy strategic thinking, problem-solving, exploration, and competitive gameplay. Token gated for the BONK community, the game offers BONK holders exclusive access to the lore, 9 unique warriors with non-linear storytelling that reflects in the gameplay. Alongside gameplay testing, we are aiming to scale to more users(gamers, art and comic enthusiasts, creators) in and out of Solana ecosystem: - Collaboration with Solana Saga Genesis and Saga 2 pass community for early beta access and feedback before the game goes live on Solana dApp store with special incentives like exclusive boosts and starter packs while onboarding - Collaborating with StepN community to offer exclusive in-game boosts for holders of StepN-Adidas original NFTs on Solana where warriors will be fuelled with limited and exclusive in-game activations like haste powerups to enable them to move faster in the dungeons, and step counter rewards based on their progress in the game - Collaboration with dReader for comics enthusiasts to onboard comic readers on Solana and Drip for dropping exclusive in-game artwork, reveals of characters and exclusive NFTs for supporters on Drip that will have unique benefits in the game - progression, access to paid perks, and more. We are working on season 0 of comics to be featured on dReader - Participation on BONK spaces, BONK radio to talk to more people in the BONK community and conducting actiavtion events with playtesting with perks (physical & virtual) at Hackerhouses, Solana Game Jams, IRL events in the community and online playtesting seasons or tournaments which feature rewards in BONK tokens automatically distributed to wallets of the best gamers who top the charts on the leaderboard - Upcoming collaboration with Solana Gameshift, that will enable gamers to purchase in-game assets using a whitelabelled marketplace with fiat to on-ramp integrations, and in-game swaps - Partnership with buddy-link app on Solana, to create on-chain referrals, invites, social quests and in-game objectives ad rewardig most loyal users - Encouraging community to produce user generated content and incorporate them in games, partner with budding games on Solana and offer shared incentives to the partner communities through raffles, airdrops, daily tasks and much more. - We're soon rolling a Zealy campaign to enable wider outreach and community to get early access to the game for early testing - Collaboration with Tensor for the warrior drop on their launchpad, to enable wider reach to NFT community on Solana and later drop free collectibles like special skins, tokens, lore as a loyalty bonus - Collaboration with Google Cloud for Startups to enable access to mobile gamers and tapping the Play Store and App store market.
