Inspiration
The stoic, high achiever and hustle culture is producing generations of “always in their heads” creators, founders and knowledge workers. We would set aside all-else for productivity - even our own life it seems. Achievement of great things is the end goal, yet most are not conscious that this always-on lifestyle is exasperating the very blockages preventing this achievement and potentially causing disease.
I know this because this was me. A founder and engineer, fit, healthy, in my prime. I was struck down with a heart attack, more about here intransic.com. Yet through this life changing event I found the solution.
That solution is actually very simple. The first step is checking in on your energy a few times a day. Are you in expansion or contraction?
When the answer is “contraction”, there are built-in tools to address the state. Users can delay addressing the contraction to a convenient time in full knowledge of the impact. The app provides users insights on their energy levels through days, weeks and years. Think of it like a streak toward unlocking energy to another level, a level where flow, inspiration, excitement and intuition are your daily life experience.
The app is an interactive experience with one’s inner world to positively affect their physiology and outer world performance.
In building an app for peak performers to manage their energy I thought to checkout how AI can help.
What it does
Encourages users to check-in their emotions a few times a day. When the user describes what they have been up to, the app will use semantic search and text categorization to identify emotions and energy associated. Those emotions will be offered for the user to refine and commit.
The text, emotions are aggregated to build a new more meaningful model to provide better suggestions from the text alone.
How we built it
Pinecone emotion data model and high speed search. Hugging Face for base model Cohere for moderation Clerk for secure Authentication NextJS API Hosted on Vercel
Challenges we ran into
We set out to preform anomaly detection in the tracked data associated with users, their companies and department. Although the models and techniques were identified. It would only be possible once we have hundreds of thousands of records. We’ll come back to this in the future.
What's next for Intransic Health
Look at applying Pinecone in the user app on health data sources to identify a period of stress (eg: pattern of short of breath, high heart rate etc).
