Imagine seeing person and wanting to start conversation but being too shy? Using this application you can easily message people in close range near you.
What it does
Using each phones network, app allows you to start chatting with close devices, also transfers through them into larger distributed network. It can be used for meeting new people, communicating with friends in places without internet connection, like plane or subway, or organize crowded events
How we built it
Each device is both server and client, all the time phone locates other devices, tries to connect, asks about profile and allows chatting. All your information and message history is stored on your device
Challenges we ran into
We spent most amount of time trying to make wifi-direct work, locate other devices and exchange messages with them

This was our first both Kotlin and Android application We also tried WiFi-Direct data transfer protocol
