Inspiration

“Bury the Ashes” was inspired by the verse 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 — “struck down, but not destroyed.” This song represents transforming pain into power and burning away what no longer serves you.

What It Means

The music video centers on a single figure surrounded by his own reflections — multiple lyrical imagery fading in and out around him — symbolizing the battle between destruction and rebirth.

How It Was Created

The lyrics were written by myself and with the help of chatgpt, the song was composed in Suno to capture the dark, cinematic metal atmosphere. Visual backgrounds and character imagery were created with Midjourney, and character animation/lip-syncing was done in Lemonslice.com. The final video was built and edited in Magix Movie Studio 2025 Suite, where looping visuals, lyric overlays, and motion effects from the video editing program were used to emphasize the song’s energy.

Challenges & What I Learned

The biggest challenge was balancing intensity and clarity — letting the visuals reflect chaos while the song’s message stays focused on redemption. I learned how multiple AI tools can work together to elevate storytelling when guided by a clear emotional vision.
