Intimate Express

Inspiration

We realized that we are all alone for Valentines, so we need to create something to help us impress our crushes.

What it does

If you are alone for Valentines because you think your crush is out of your reach, FEAR NOT, as Intimate Express can help you set up the perfect date by providing you with funny pick up lines, best restaurant locations and movie choices, cutest card to ask him/her out and a heart-warming letter to show your affection.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, CSS, JS and Node.js(with express), as well as a range of APIs.

Challenges we ran into

We found it difficult when implementing the APIs as none of us have that much experience with it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have created a functioning pick-up line generator, in addition to implementing newsletters, and many more such features, that will provide the user with creative date ideas!

What we learned

We learnt how to discover the variety of APIs out there and use them to our advantages. It is very important to choose the right ones that does exactly what we want, as it will save us tons of time by not having to create a feature from scratch.

What's next for Intimate Express

Add the reservation functionality and partner with dating-apps like Tinder, Bumble and set up perfect dates between people who are meeting each other for the first time.
