Inspiration

Preparing for interviews is one of the most stressful parts of a student's career journey.

Many candidates lack access to mentors, mock interview partners, or personalized feedback. As a result, they often enter interviews without understanding their weaknesses.

We wanted to create an intelligent interview coach that can simulate realistic interview experiences and provide actionable feedback.

Using Google Gemini, we built a platform that helps users practice, improve, and gain confidence before actual interviews.

How we built it

We built InterviewVerse AI as a personalized interview preparation platform.

The frontend was developed using React.js and Tailwind CSS, creating an immersive interview environment that feels realistic and engaging.

The backend was built using Node.js and Express to manage interview sessions, user profiles, and communication with Google Gemini.

Google Gemini powers the interview engine by generating contextual questions, analyzing responses, evaluating communication quality, and creating personalized feedback reports.

The entire platform is deployed on Google Cloud to ensure scalability and reliability.

Throughout development, we focused on creating interview experiences that closely resemble real-world hiring processes.
