Inspiration
Many students struggle with interview anxiety, lack of real practice, and limited personalized feedback before placements or job interviews. We wanted to create a platform that simulates real interview experiences and helps users improve confidence, communication, and technical readiness using AI.
What it does
InterviewIQ is an AI-powered mock interview platform that provides resume-based interview questions, voice interview simulations, confidence analysis, communication feedback, and performance analytics. It helps users practice HR, technical, and behavioral interviews in a realistic environment.
How we built it
We built InterviewIQ using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, and Recharts for the frontend experience. Mock AI workflows, analytics dashboards, and interview simulations were integrated to create a polished startup-style platform with responsive UI and interactive onboarding.

What we learned
We learned how important UI/UX, storytelling, and smooth user experience are in AI products. We also improved our understanding of frontend architecture, animations, mock AI systems, and rapid product prototyping during hackathons.
What's next for InterviewIQ
We plan to integrate real-time AI models, advanced speech and emotion analysis, company-specific interview preparation, multilingual support, and personalized career coaching features to make InterviewIQ a complete AI career preparation platform.
