We do a fair amount of recruitment in our business, which was taking a toll on our hiring managers

What it does

Streamlines the whole shortlisting process from 100s of applicants to the most appropriate and serious job seekers with almost no effort

How we built it

We used the speech-to-speech nova sonic model (under AWS Bedrock) to build an AI Agent for conducting job interviews and evaluating prospective job seekers. Other than AWS Bedrock, we used services such as Lambda functions, DynamoDB, S3, AppSynch, SES, API Gateway, AWS Cognito for the overall build and deployment.

Challenges we ran into

While trying to enable the OpenAI gpt model under AWS Bedrock, we were running into an error. Due to which we had to invoke OpenAI APIs externally from a Lambda function. It would have been more elegant to invoke this as an AWS Bedrock Agent.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

How we managed to stitch the various services of AWS together in quick time to get the solution from concept to reality in flat 12 odd days.

Got a fair idea of AWS Bedrock capabilities for building and deploying AI agentic solutions.
