🧠 Product Story — InterviewRadar It started with a simple pattern I kept seeing. People weren’t struggling to get interviews. They were struggling to manage them. Important recruiter emails were getting buried. Interview details were scattered across threads. And most people were either over-preparing random topics or under-preparing because they didn’t actually know what the interview would focus on. The real problem wasn’t lack of effort — it was lack of clarity.
💡 Insight Every recruiter email already contains signals about what the interview expects. But that information is: unstructured hidden in long threads and easy to miss under stress So candidates are left guessing. And that guessing leads to wasted time, anxiety, and poor performance.
🚀 The Idea So I built InterviewRadar — an AI interview copilot that turns recruiter emails into structured, actionable preparation. Instead of asking users to manually plan their prep, it: reads Gmail or Outlook detects real interview opportunities extracts intent from recruiter language and generates evidence-based prep guidance No assumptions. No generic advice. Only what the recruiter actually said.
⚙️ How it works The system is designed around one principle: If it’s not in the email, it doesn’t go into the preparation. So the pipeline looks like: Email → Interview Detection → Evidence Extraction → Rule-Based Prep Engine → Calendar + Voice Output If an email says: “project walkthrough” → prepare a walkthrough “implementation decisions” → focus on tradeoffs “let’s meet” → flag as unclear, don’t assume This constraint is what makes the system trustworthy.
🎯 What it becomes InterviewRadar is not just an email tool. It becomes: your interview memory your preparation guide and your scheduling assistant It reduces the mental load of job searching by turning chaos into structured clarity.
🧠 Final insight Most AI tools try to sound smart. But in this product, I learned something more important: In high-stakes workflows like interviews, users don’t need intelligence. They need trust, structure, and evidence. That’s what InterviewRadar is built on.
