Interview Coach

inspiration:

The inspiration for this project came from a challenge that many students and adults face which is interviews.

what it does:

This product uses natural language processing to allow the user to practice doing job and college interviews.

how we built it:

we built this project using an Open AI’s open source API. We were able to take advantage of its natural language model to help the user practice interviewing. We also had to fine tune the model to make sure that it was responding correctly to the user.

challenges we ran into:

The main challenge we ran into was being able to set up a virtual environment to make sure that the API would actually work.

what we are proud of:

we are proud of actually producing code that is able to help someone prepare for an interview and also being able to setup the environment eventually.

what we learned:

we learned that making sure that the environment is setup properly is very important and that files must be placed in the correct directories to make sure that the path is accessible.

Whats next for Interview Coach:

Next for interview coach, we plan on implementing a text to speech and speech to text to make the app more usable.
