Inspiration
Our inspiration was our own experience at Technica, we're all from different countries (Brazil, Ecuador, and the USA) and we didn't know each other prior to this hackathon but we got together and we thought that this had a lot to do with the theme "Expand your horizons"
What it does
It's a site for girl coders to talk about their interests, meet other girl coders who want to collaborate with them on projects from all levels and ask questions about what they're learning or what they want to learn. That on an international level.
How we built it
We used Figma to make a mockup of how we want it to look, as all of us were interested in learning front-end development.
Challenges we ran into
We were confused about how to make our project come to life as we didn't have any experience with coding like that and most of us have never attended a hackathon before.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of how we didn't give up and kept searching for other ways to make our project happen.
What we learned
We learned the basics of web development and a little bit of HTML, CSS, and JS when we tried to look for other ways to do what we wanted.
What's next for International Hackers
Our plan is to keep learning front-end development so International Hackers can eventually happen one day, the plan is to expand it more and more.
