Interjections
Plays Alexa Speechcons at random in American, British, Canadian, and Indian English accents.
I got the inspiration to work on developing this Alexa skill to submit to the Amazon Alexa Skills Challenge: Kids. Once certified by Amazon, the skill can be launched by saying "Alexa, open special words". Amazon recently introduced Speechcons (interjections - special words and phrases) for Alexa to speak with appropriate emphasis. I thought it would be a novel way for kids to know about these words by letting Alexa say these words/phrases at random one by one via SSML.
This skill works for American (en-US), British (en_GB), Canadian (en-CA), and Indian (en-IN) English languages. Its a fun way for kids to hear the interjections specific to each of these regions with local accents. The Language in settings of the Alexa app need to be set accordingly to hear the words and phrases specific to one of these languages.
