Inspiration

We were inspired by the Stop Asian Hate movement and also personal experiences with different medicines and practices of different cultures.

What it does

Intercured is an app that helps users diagnoses their illness, suggest remedies of different cultures, and introduces users to unique remedies and practices from cultures worldwide. Intercured aims to bring awareness to new forms of cures not commonly known about.

How we built it

We used Figma to design, build, and prototype Intercured.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues figuring out the content of the quiz as we are not familiar with diagnosis processes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the large amount of research we put into understanding concepts and making the quiz. We are also both not very familiar with Figma. We wanted to take this hackathon as an opportunity to learn more about the application.

What we learned

We learned a lot about Figma components, instances, design principles, and some processes within healthcare and medicine.

What's next for Intercured

Intercured will expand within the diagnosis process by making it more diverse and inclusive to not only tackle physical issues but also mental health issues. Intercured also plans on partnering with local medicine shops to support small businesses and make their products more accessible.
