InterConnected

Inspiration

My inspiration came from me living in a very diverse community. It was amazing to see how despite how many different countries we come from, we all have a shared connection with one another and I wanted to share that with everyone.

What it does

My website is a resource that allows individuals to explore the connections each country has with others.

How we built it

The platform I built my website was Repl.it and the languages I used was HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge was linking a country's page every time it was mentioned as it was very time-consuming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I got as many countries on the list as I was able to as a lot of time was spent researching the connections.

What we learned

I learned a lot about countries and their history and why all these connections exist.

What's next for InterConnected

I would like to add more countries, more information about the connections, and possibly a fun interactive quiz game to test how well users know what connections belong with which countries.
